A Dana Air plane with 168 passengers capacity has caught fire as it was about to take off from Port Harcourt International Airport, setting jitters down the spines of passengers.
Platforms Africa reports that the incident occured at about 9:00 p.m. on Monday.

A spokesman for the airlines who confirmed the news, added that no injury was sustained by the passengers aboard the aircraft.
The pilot, he said, “took immediate safety procedures and helped passengers disembark calmly, avoiding any injuries.”
